Dixon, California

My hometown of Dixon, California, has good vibes. There are oodles of things that make this coastal state different and special. First off, we have mountains, beaches, and deserts. We’re also the home of the world’s largest banana museum.

Most states have some type of natural beauty to them. They have mountains, deserts, lakes, beaches, or forest. They all have something to offer. California, though, instead of just having one of these things, has all of them! In this state, you can see the Racetrack rocks in Death Valley, go to Santa Cruz and surf, go to Lake Tahoe to see the lake and the mountains, or go to Big Basin and smell the fresh, forest air. You wouldn’t think that one place could house all of these natural beauties.

Located in Hesperia, California is one of the only banana museums ever to exist. It has over 17,000 banana-related items. This is just plain astonishing. How many states can boast that they have a banana museum? That certainly makes this state different.

As you can see, California is so special.
