Victoria lives in the Granite State, a stomping ground for presidential candidates as it holds the first primary election of the season. As a Kid Reporter in this politically charged state, she will get to meet many of the candidates face-to-face.

"I like to learn about people," Victoria said. She says she is curious about people and things, which is perhaps the best quality a journalist can have.

Victoria also likes to sing and dance. She takes dancing classes and thinks some day she may be a doctor or a singer. Or both! You never know.

She hopes working as a Kid Reporter will give her ideas for a new magazine. "I also want to learn where reporters get their ideas," she said.

Victoria is an avid reader who sometimes snuggles up in a pink fluffy chair in her room to read her favorite series books. Those include the Candy Apple series and the Laura Ingalls Wilder and Junie B. Jones books.

Victoria is in the fourth grade at a school that is now covering its third presidential campaign for Scholastic News.
