Hobbies: Reading, sign language, bike-riding, writing stories, and watching TV
Shelby hopes to become a reporter or geologist one day. In her spare time, she plays with her friends outside and rides her bike.
As a Kid Reporter, she hopes to learn how to become a better reporter and how to work with other people on a team.
"What would make me a great reporter for Scholastic is that I have experience and I love being out in the field to meet new people from different places," she says.
Shelby is in the fourth grade in Lakeland, Florida. She has a younger brother.
