Extracurricular Activities: karate and modern dance, band, and The Math, Engineering and Science Association (MESA) program
Hobbies: reading, writing, cooking, and working out word searches

Taylor loves to write. “Once I start, I can’t stop,” she says. She enjoys reading as well, because she likes to keep informed on current events.

As a Kid Reporter, Taylor wants to learn more about the government and how government leaders work together to run the country.

One day, she plans on being a veterinarian, but Taylor told Scholastic News Online that she has always been interested in news broadcasting. She is looking forward to “helping announce news and progress in the 2008 presidential election.”

Taylor is in the fifth grade at her school in Maryland. She has a brother, LaBrandon.
