Katie wants to be an architect when she grows up because she loves math and is good at art. Her other career goal is to start an advertising company.
In her spare time, she likes to practice her hobbies, such as playing the violin, playing tennis, reading, drawing, or playing sports.
Katie says that as a Scholastic Kid Reporter, "she hopes to learn more about the process of gathering and organizing facts [and] more about figuring out which are the most important facts to tell people." She wants to communicate important information to people in the most interesting way possible.
Katie says she is very excited to be "one of the few kids in the whole world who will be able to meet and interview the forerunners in the presidential election."
