Reading Makes the Difference

Books I like include Captain Underpants (by Dave Pilkey), Wild Man Island (by Will Hobbs,) Brighty of the Grand Canyon (by Marguerite Henry), and Counterfeit Son (by Elaine Marie Alphin.)

I enjoy reading books that have drama, mystery, and suspense. I look for books that I can’t put down until the very end. I usually end up finishing the book in a couple of days.

I enjoy reading in a quiet room where I cannot hear or see anything else. I like those places because it makes me feel like there is nothing else except the book and me. I especially like to read with the lights dimmed and the sunset coming in the window. I like this setting because it feels like you are in a movie.

I think reading is important because it is a major part of life. If I did not know how to read I wouldn’t know how to write or spell.

Also, if I didn’t know how to read, I would have a hard time finding a job as an adult.

I enjoy reading because I enjoy the feeling of being in a whole different world with different people and different lives.
