Speakers:
Joe Dixon is the Director, Professional Development and Training Services for Tequipment. Joe has concentrated his work and study within the field of instructional and assistive technology. Before joining Tequipment he worked as the Executive Director of the Kornreich Technology Center and helped to create the Mid-South Access Center for Technology housed within the College of Education at the University of Memphis
Florence T. O'Connor, Asst. Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction in the Yorktown Central School District
Her instructional background includes a focus on the process of student learning through her experience in general education, special education and gifted education. As a teacher, principal, and director in positions across New York State, and in her current role, the integration of technology has been a consistent goal in order to engage students. Florence believes that all school staff need to be continuous learners and this is reflected in staff development in Yorktown.
Sharon Fellner, Director of Technology for South Huntington School District
Sharon's commitment to providing meaningful and quality staff development stems from her many years as a science instructor in elementary and middle schools. She transitioned from the classroom to be an in-house technology staff developer before becoming the Director of Technology for the South Huntington School District for the past 9 years.
