What to do:
1. Visit Karsh's Magick Tips, located in the Kids area of Scholastic.com.
2. Compose a spell with your child. If you're feeling stuck, check out Karsh's spell-writing tip before you begin. You may also want to compose your spell offline before sending it in.
3. Send in your spell. Then check back to see if it has been posted online.
4. For another twist on this activity, write your spells separately, then compare them. Whose was more imaginative, funny, wicked? Or, decide on a spell, have your child start it, and you finish it.
